Consultant Psychiatrist and Addiction Medicine Specialist. Founder of Psyter. I evaluate and treat high-level individuals - executives, founders, and public figures - and build at the intersection of clinical science, AI, and digital therapeutics.
I didn't enter psychiatry to follow a conventional path. I entered it because I understood - early - that mental illness sits at the most complex intersection of biology, society, and technology, and that the people positioned to change outcomes are those willing to work across all three.
I trained at King Saud University and completed a UBC fellowship in Mood Disorders and Addiction Medicine - where I led youth mental health digital initiatives funded by Bell Canada. That experience planted the conviction that technology, deployed with clinical rigor, could reach people the traditional system never would.
Today I run a dual track: leading the Psychiatry Residency Program at KSU Medical City - one of the region's most competitive training programs - and building Psyter, a digital mental health platform. I advise national and international bodies because policy is where scale happens.
The future of mental health will be built by people who refuse to choose between clinical depth and technological ambition.
From clinical tools to digital platforms to policy frameworks - each initiative targets a structural failure in mental health delivery.
A digital mental health platform built to close the gap between clinical expertise and patient access. Psyter connects patients with specialist psychiatric care - online - through a user experience designed around what patients actually need, not what the system finds convenient.
Built KSU Medical City's first subspecialized substance use disorder program from scratch - establishing clinical protocols, care pathways, and treatment standards where none previously existed.
Led the development of a Bell Canada-funded digital mental health platform for youth with depression during my UBC fellowship. An early proof that technology could deliver clinical-grade mental health support at scale.
Led institution-wide electronic health records implementation and quality management protocols at KSU Medical City - translating clinical workflow requirements into scalable health information infrastructure.
